The "Maritime Museum of Oinousses", located on an island in the East of Greece, is devoted to its long and rich maritime tradition, which remains the island´s emblem.
All the museum´s items were donated by oinoussiakon families, also the the Palace Panteis Ant. Lemos, where the museum is housed, was offered by the Lemos family.
The following exhibitions and collections that provide information about the transition from sailing- over steamships to contemporary fleets can be found there:
1. Collection of ships of the Napoleonic years, made by French prisoners in the prisons of England.
2. Collection of weapons and combat arms travelers of the 18th and 19th century.
3. Collection of paintings by Aristides Sweetness, aignousiotika depicting sailing ships and steamboats.
4. Misomontela collection of ship models and from the early 20th century until today.
