Parks Canada National Historic Site Hamilton

If you are interested in historic naval ships, you should definitely see HMCS HAIDA.

She is the last remaining example of 27 Tribal Class destroyers built for the Royal Canadian Navy and the Royal Australian Navy between 1937 and 1945. She is an irreplaceable artifact with magnificent appearance and represents the most advanced naval architecture, marine propulsion systems and weaponry of her time.

Nowadays, HMCS HAIDA belongs to Parks Canada and you can find her in Hamilton Harbour where she serves as a reminder of the sacrifice, courage and tenacity of the Royal Canadian Navy.
